About ARG Performance

ARG Performance is a specialist workshop dedicated to the Toyota GT86, Subaru BRZ, and GR86 platform. Founded in 2022, we've become one of the UK's go-to specialists for FA20 engine rebuilds.

FA20 Engine Rebuild Specialists

We know the FA20 engine inside and out. Since January 2024 alone, we've rebuilt over 38 engines, and that number continues to grow. Hearing the dreaded rod knock? We can fix it.

We offer a range of rebuild options to suit your needs and goals:

Rod Knock Repair — Get your engine back to health with quality components and proper machining.

Rod Forged Build — Reinforce the weakest point of the FA20 with forged connecting rods, ideal for those adding power or wanting extra peace of mind.

Fully Forged Build — The ultimate foundation for high-power builds, featuring forged pistons and rods for maximum strength and reliability under boost.

Every rebuild includes precision machining, quality components, and the attention to detail these engines deserve.

Additional Services

Beyond engine work, we offer annual servicing, brake and clutch upgrades, gearbox and differential servicing, coilover installation, geometry setup, and custom electrical work. We also provide EcuTek-based remapping in partnership with EngineTuner to smooth out the torque dip and unlock more from your engine.

Parts

We stock a curated range of quality parts for the GT86 and BRZ platform, including service packs, brake components, clutches, exhaust systems, and spare parts.

We're based in Devon in the South West of England.
